What Makes a Great Volunteer

We are excited about your interest to get involved and contribute your time, energy and enthusiasm to Rumble Over the Redwoods! Great volunteers are:

​

  • Customer-service driven

  • Enjoy giving back to their community and inspiring the next generation of aviators

  • Appreciate a fun, fast-paced, and high-energy work environment

  • Willing to work as a team and help when and where it is needed

Requirements

  • Must be 16 years or older. Anyone younger than 16 will be considered on a case by case basis. Contact us for more information.

  • Must arrive on time and be able to work all day, preferably both Saturday and Sunday

  • Must be comfortable on your feet and in the sun for a large portion of the day

Volunteers get a backstage pass to the sights, sounds and excitement of an air show. Volunteers will be provided lunch, water and a crew t-shirt.

 

*All applications require air show management approval.

**All volunteers must complete this form each year.

General Waiver

I will hold harmless and indemnify Rumble Over the Redwoods, its affiliated companies and officers, directors and employees from and against any loss, damage, liability, claims, cost and expense including legal fees which may be incurred by reason of the volunteer’s participation in Rumble Over the Redwoods, unless such claims are a result of gross negligence or willful misconduct on the part of Rumble Over the Redwoods. I have read and understand the foregoing general waiver and have signed voluntarily.

Media Release

I also understand, and do hereby consent and agree that Rumble Over the Redwoods, its employees or agents have the right to videotape, or make digital recordings of me during the event and to use these in any and all media, now or hereafter for marketing purposes. I further consent that my name and identity may be revealed therein or by descriptive text or comment and I release to Rumble Over the Redwoods, its agents, and employees all rights to exhibit this work in print and electronic form, and to market and sell copies. I waive any rights, claims, or interest I may have to control the use of my identity or likeness used.
